Joaquin de Castro

Joaquin is the Executive Director of NOVUS Innovations and founded the organization in 2022. He is currently a freshman at Harvard University planning to concentrate in Physics and Economics. There, he helps with the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament and the Harvard University Quantum Computing Association.

Prior to this, Joaquin’s past experiences include interning with the Philippine Space Agency and doing research with a professor at the National Institute of Physics (UP Diliman). While his research interest lies mainly in quantum physics, he maintains a strong advocacy for innovation policy and public service in education.
